It has been a little over a year since Nas first announced he was working on a new solo album. Nas later revealed the title of this album to be Life is Good. Early in the summer months of 2011, Nas began releasing new music from the album. But, by the halfway point of 2011, discussion about the album ended.

Life is Good recently returned to the headlines, as Nas is interested in releasing the album before the end of the summer of 2012. As Nas wraps up his tenth studio album, there are rumors of Nas doing collaborative efforts. Raekwon has said he is interested in teaming up with Nas for an album and there are rumors of Common also doing an album with Nas.

Rumors are running rampant about Nas recording collaborative albums. However, Nas has different things on his mind. There is a lot of discussion about Nas and AZ finally releasing their collaborative album. Nas, though, said the only thing on his mind, right now, is the release of Life is Good, which is due on July 17.
