Nas talks Charleston church shooting with VIBE [VIDEO]

It’s disheartening to wake up every day and find out someone else has been murdered. Race, creed, religion, gender, and orientation aside, a human life is a human life. Nas, himself, pleaded to the world to stop the killing, years ago.

The latest murder that is dominating news is the mass murder that took place in the Charleston, South Carolina church. Law enforcement has arrested the man behind the killing. But, it was hard to ignore how a murderer was calmly arrested, while innocent blacks have been killed.

Mikey Fresh, from VIBE, recently caught up with Nas. Anyone who listens to Nas’ music knows he stays in tune with current affairs. During their brief interview, Nas addressed the Charleston shooting and citing mental illness as something that could trigger these killings, suggesting treating mental illness from birth.
