Nas teases new “Magic 2” EP
It appears that another Nas project is coming sometime this year, based on the legendary rapper’s latest Instagram post. He posted a hype trailer, as the caption included two emojis of magic wand sticks.
These emojis resemble Nas’ “Magic” EP that he released with Hit-Boy back in December 2021, on Christmas Eve. As a result, many anticipate that the sequel to Magic could arrive at some point before the end of 2023. However, Nas hasn’t officially publicized a release date yet. The first Magic project contained nine songs, including collaborations with A$AP Rocky & DJ Premier.
This latest development comes after Nas dropped his “King’s Disease 3” album with Hit-Boy 2022. They’ve been one of the hottest rapper-producer duos over the past three years, as all of their King’ Disease albums have been released, since 2020. The first King’s Disease album even went on to win a Grammy in 2021, for Best Rap Album. That was surprisingly Nas’ first ever Grammy win. As a result, that also added on to Hit-Boy’s impressive resume as being one of the most talented producers in the music industry.
In 2023, Nas has also been venturing on his “NY State Of Mind” Tour with Wu-Tang Clan. This summer, they also went on to expand the tour into Europe.
