Nas ties Jay Z as the rapper with most top 10 albums in Billboard 200 history, after release of “King’s Disease III”

Nas ties Jay Z as rapper with most top 10 albums on Billboard 200

Last week, Nas released the third installment of his “King’s Disease” album series. Hit-Boy produced all of this project again, as he’d done for the first two King’s Disease albums, since 2020.

Many expected King’s Disease III to see a top 10 debut on the Billboard 200 chart. That has now officially happened, as Nas reached number 10. King’s Disease III sold 29,000 units over the past week, and accumulated 26.47 million on-demand streams.

King’s Disease III has also set another new impressive Billboard 200 milestone. According to Chart Data, Nas ties Jay Z as the rapper with the most top 10 albums in Billboard 200 history. This is with 16 each.

As many member Jay & Nas had a huge feud in the early 2000s. Nas also created one of the best diss records of all-time, in “Ether.” The two are cordial now. However, Jay does sometimes throw some subliminal competitive shots, whenever Nas releases new music.

Nas will continue to celebrate King’s Disease III, as he recently announced that he will perform at Madison Square Garden, in New York City, on February 24. This is a King’s Disease Trillogy concert, as Nas will perform songs from all three KD albums.
