January always seems to be a tough month for the music world, as someone is often lost. Those waking up into 2016 are in a bit of a somber mood due to this very situation. An icon in the music industry is Nat King Cole and he passed the gene down to his daughter.
Natalie Cole rose to become a pretty big name in music, herself, when she grew older. In fact, there are many who look at her as an icon. It is hard to come after an older sibling or parent and make a name for one’s self, but Natalie Cole did it.
Best-known for her single, “Unforgettable,” Natalie Cole died late last night. Unfortunately, Natalie Cole wasn’t able to bring her music and her history into 2016. The cause of death is unknown, but Natalie Cole is dead at 65.
