People are praying for the best for actress Naya Rivera right now as she went missing on Wednesday at Lake Piru in Ventura County, CA. She was assumed to have drowned after her 4-year-old son was found by himself in their rented boat. This was rented at 1pm at a reservoir in Padres National Forest, according to The Washington Post.
At 5pm, someone found Rivera’s son sleeping alone on the boat. This was also the time when the boat was supposed to be turned. Dive teams, helicopters and drones were all sent out in attempts to find Rivera but the search was suspended at 10pm PT. As of now, the search will resume at “first light” on Thursday.
Rivera and her son were supposedly originally swimming together but never ended up back on the boat. Her son was wearing a life vest but another one, which is assumed to be Rivera’s, was on the boat. Hopefully, she is found ASAP and is safe.
Rivera is best known for her role in the TV series, ‘Glee,’ which ran from 2009-2015. She also made appearances on ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,’ ‘Family Matters,’ and ‘The Bernie Mac Show.’ Many also remember her briefly dating Big Sean before their split in 2014.
