Naya Rivera’s Body Has Reportedly Now Been Found in Lake Piru, CA, Five Days After Going Missing While on Boat With Son

Naya Rivera has been missing since Wednesday when she was on Lake Piru, CA with her four-year-old son. The two were swimming but later on, her son was found to be sleeping on the boat they rented while Rivera was nowhere to be found. Authorities in the area tried different sonar methods of locating her as well as cabin checks but there was no progress. This follows after an announcement from local authorities that nothing came out of the cabin checks.

Now, there is breaking news as Rivera’s body has officially been found at the lake, according to TMZ. Ventura County officials initially revealed that a body has just been found but wasn’t confirmed right at the moment to be her. Now, it’s without a doubt. She has sadly passed away at the age of 33. Her son has since been reunited with her ex-husband.

A press conference is now expected to be held today at 5pm ET. Rivera was an actress who was known notably for her appearances in the TV series, ‘Glee,’ from 2009-2015 along with ‘The Bernie Mac Show.’
