NBA Back: Happy NBA fans flood Twitter in celebration of the new NBA season starting tonight #NBABack #HappyNBA #KiaTipOff16

nba-backLast season saw a very exciting NBA season, but it was a year of transition. Another year of “opposite day,” the Lakers were among the worst teams, while the Clippers are contenders. Meanwhile, the defending champion Warriors broke the Bulls’ record for wins.

As Steph Curry led the Warriors to a 73-9 record, Kobe Bryant retired and scored 60 points in his last game. LeBron James silently made his return to glory, taking the Cavaliers to a place they had never been before. Tim Duncan, meanwhile, decided to hang it up.

Dwyane Wade played his final game for the Miami Heat, joining his hometown Chicago Bulls. So much is different this season, mainly Kevin Durant now playing for the Warriors after leaving Russell Westbrook and the Thunder. The young man, Damian Lillard, is on a mission, as is Kemba Walker, so starting tonight, we shall see, and Twitter is ready.
