This was one right here there was no avoiding, when it came to the jokes. First of all, major shout out to the NBA D-League for making the dream of pro basketball possible to more people. There are a lot of talented basketball players who never get to be in the NBA.
Thanks to the D-League, these players have been able to still play pro, and be a professional star. Then, a good number of these players have still managed to play in the NBA. Now, the D-League has made a move the hip hop world will definitely approve of.
The NBA D-League has entered an official partnership with Gatorade, giving them naming rights. Now, the NBA D-League is called the NBA G-League, which is a win within itself. These tweets are too funny in regards to the name change.
