NBA Youngboy’s Manager, Claims That YouTube Won’t Promote Youngboy’s Music, Due to His “Image”

NBA Youngboy released his new “Sincerely, Kentell” album, yesterday, and his fan base is already feeling this project a lot. It is the first album, since getting incarcerated in March, as well. At this point, it is projected to debut at number, one, on the Billboard 200 chart, next week.

If Sincerely, Kentrell, is at number one, this would be Youngboy’s third top project, over the last year and a half. The Louisiana rapper also does huge streaming number son YouTube, where he’s been a number one artist, for three consecutive years. Apparently though, the platform refuses to promote him.

Youngboy’s manager, Alex Junnier, took to his Instagram stories, to make this claim. He explained how YouTube won’t promote the rapper, due to his “image.”

“YouTube told us they can’t promote YB because of his image. Weak ass platform. Your #1 artist 3 years in a row.”

Youngboy has been in various legal woes, over the last four years. This includes getting out of prison, due to a murder case, in 2017, reportedly being involved in a shootout, in Miami, in 2019, and this year as well, where hw was arrested in Los Angeles, over gun charges, stemming from an arrest, in his hometown of Baton Rouge, in September 2020.
