Really, the NBA deserves a lot of credit for becoming as popular as it is, now. Even the non-basketball parts of the game are interesting, and it wasn’t always like this. Now, regular fans pay attention to contracts, the offseason, and trades.
Here, this morning, NBA fans are analyzing the trades, as the trade deadline is today. This morning, one deal has already been kicked off, but the fans want some action. So far, Jameer Nelson has been traded from the Bulls to the Pistons for Willie Redd.
Back in the day, Jameer Nelson was a force, with the Orlando Magic, forming a strong duo with Dwight Howard. They dethroned the Celtics, a year after their title, before Nelson went down. But, that was nine years ago, and, today, a Jameer Nelson trade is boring, as it’s his second trade, of the season, with New Orleans already having dealt him.
