Ten years ago, Ne-Yo launched his career, coming from behind the scenes as a songwriter. He was introduced during the L.A. Reid/Jay Z era of Def Jam. Immediately, Ne-Yo cranked out such hits as “So Sick” and “When You’re Mad.”

In the years since then, Ne-Yo continued dropping hits, most recently, “She Knows.” However, much of his attention has focused on his executive work. Currently, Ne-Yo holds the top spot at Motown, allowing him to live out a dream.

Tonight, Ne-Yo likely lived out another dream, as he sang the national anthem for the 2016 NBA All-Star Game in Toronto. His performance was brilliant, as fans are praising him for it. However, they are also poking fun at him over his bald head, since the hat finally came off.
