A veteran in the game, Ne-Yo has experienced almost everything that a man could. From 2006-2008, Ne-Yo was on top of the R&B world, at a time when Usher and R. Kelly were still dropping hits. That era even saw the likes of Chris Brown and Trey Songz looking up at him.

Ne-Yo was originally signed to Def Jam, in the Jay-Z era, which also saw the likes of Jeezy, Rick Ross, and Rihanna signed. In 2008, Jay-Z left the label, creating Roc Nation. Now, none of these acts are on the label, and Ne-Yo enjoyed a stint running Motown Records.

Recently, Ne-Yo spoke to TT Torrez, at Hot 97, and there was a lot of ground they covered. During the interview, he talked about quarantine saving his marriage, as he and Crystal were filing for divorce. He would go onto also discuss Versuz and his new album.
