Nelly has low projections for “M.O.,” set to sell 15,000 copies in first week

Hip hop will never have another year like 2013 because of all the new artists who emerged, the presence of the current stars, and the veteran comebacks. Count Nelly in as one of the veterans who returned to the game. It’s been three years since Nelly dropped his 5.0 album and now he is back with M.O.

When he began promoting the album, Nelly returned to his “Hot In Herre” roots and recruited Pharrell. It’s been a few years since Pharrell was doing his thing on such a large scale. Pharrell got back at it and made “Get Like Me” for Nelly, which Nicki Minaj also appeared on.

The “Get Like Me” single was underwhelming and it looks like the album will follow suit. A man who once went diamond, Nelly leaves much more to the imagination with his first week sales projections. M.O. is projected to sell 15,000 copies in its first week of sales.
