Through the history of the show, NeNe has always been viewed as, and treated as, the villain. Definitely, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s” early seasons saw NeNe as the antagonist. Later seasons saw NeNe try to soften her tone, but she is still the same NeNe.
This was proven when NeNe turned on the entire cast, at the end of last season, shocking many. One by one, she is trying to make amends with the cast, as Kenya pointed out. She began with Kandi, later moving onto Tanya, and then came Eva.
However, the way NeNe approached Eva, who happens to be pregnant, turned many off. Fans didn’t like how NeNe asked Eva to come to her, and then they believed the apology fell flat. Still, fans appreciated NeNe making amends, but on Twitter, they said it could have been better.
