When Travis Scott was first asked to perform at the Super Bowl, he turned it down. Later, Travis Scott accepted the gig to perform, which was highly controversial. However, the Houston rapper was said to have “come to an understanding” with the NFL.

The NFL has been facing pressure, since 2017, due to their treatment of Colin Kaepernick, a quarterback who chose to do a silent protest. He has been blackballed by the league, since then. But, this has allowed him to become an advocate for police reform.

Reports said Travis Scott had an “understanding” with the NFL, but those close Colin Kaepernick call BS. His girlfriend, Hot 97’s Nessa Nitty, spoke out. She said there was no truth to the story and morning show host, Ebro Darden, echoed her message in his Ebro way, leading to Kaepernick retweeting him.
