Every year, September 11 is a tough day to reflect on, seeing the dark turn the day took in 2001. But, the United States made sure it became stronger every year after the attacks. The Twin Towers no longer exist, but a new, taller, World Trade Center stands in its place.
Fifteen years later, many of the millennials who are beginning to hit their strides in the world remember this day as their lives changing. A lot has changed, in the world, since then. But, those who remembered the moment will never forget what happened.
On Twitter, all morning and afternoon, people have flooded the platform with tweets about the September 11 attacks. Definitely one of the toughest moments in US history, the only bright spot was that the attacks brought everyone together. During that span of time, the United States truly felt united and the nation did emerge stronger.
