New York Rapper Hollywood Play Killed In Drive-By Shooting In Queens [VIDEO] #RIPHollywoodPlay

Rising New York artist Hollywood Play, (real name Frankie Lewis) was killed in a deadly shooting in Queens, New York last night which took place at The Tavern bar, according to ABC 7. Neighbors in his Bedstuy, Brooklyn neighborhood recognized him as a true hustler who made sure his music was known.

Play was also known to have promoted parties at The Tavern. Witnesses say that a gunman let shots off when Play left the bar at 3:15AM. He was struck in the leg and neck. He would later pass away at Jamaica Hospital.

Another neighbor said that Play gave back to his community and helped kids so a motive for the murder could very well be jealousy. Play was known for his single ‘Bring Ya Friends‘ and just released his single ‘Back Baby.‘ Check out the music video for Back Baby below.
