Although Beats by Dre is soon on its way out, the company which was started by businessmen in Dr. Dre’s circle, continues to receive bad news. Initially released in 2008, Beats by Dre obviously found a niche within the hip hop community. The hip hop community includes most of the NBA and the NFL.
This year has been a challenging year for hip hop, not only with Apple purchasing Beats and then making plans of discontinuing the product. Many rappers have come under fire for various reasons. Also, many NFL players have gotten into legal issues over domestic violence.
But, the NFL’s reasons for banning Beats by Dre have no malice intentions. When it comes down to it, the deal is strictly business. Recently, the NFL struck a deal with Bose headphones and the players will now wear those during postgame interviews, not touching any other headphones on game day until at least an hour after the game.
