The past month of “Empire” has left fans of the show highly upset. In the few times the show actually aired, “Empire” left fans on the edge of their seats. Unfortunately, they are still hanging on this edge, because no new episodes have aired and the winter break is coming up.
Throughout social media, “Empire” fans have vented about the scheduling of the show. The Major League Baseball playoffs also airing on FOX derailed much of the show. Now, with this being the holiday season, reruns are airing.
But, when “Empire” does return, Phylicia Rashad will finally make her debut on the show. Not long after this, Nia Long will be joining the cast of the show. She will be playing a queenpin who works the club circuit until she schemes to land a deal with Empire, where she joins forces with Lucious (Terrence Howard) and gives Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) a run for her money.
