Nick Cannon has been in the public eye for well over a decade. There are many child stars who fall into oblivion following their initial run. This was not the case for Nick Cannon, who turned his childhood fame into a successful media company. While the head of his own company, Nick Cannon accepted jobs for hosting radio shows, along with taking the CEO position at TEENick.
Coming into 2012, there should have been positive sentiments surrounding Nick Cannon. Cannon and his family were spending the holiday season in Aspen, Colorado, when Nick was hospitalized. The superstar mogul was suffering from mild kidney failure. Despite the severity of the situation, Cannon and his wife, Mariah Carey, tried to keep the mood as light as possible.
Emerging from the mild kidney failure, Nick Cannon appeared to be poised to take on the world, once again. This was not the case, as last month, Nick Cannon announced he was leaving his position as radio host at 92.3 in Los Angeles. Apparently Nick Cannon’s health situation has continued to decline and reports are saying his disease is “lupus-like.”
Despite having a few scares, Nick Cannon has revealed everything is now in order, since they have found out what the disease is. The mogul is suffering from an autoimmune disease, which bares similarities to lupus. Nick Cannon cites his incredibly-busy schedule and his hard work as possibly applying pressure on him.
