Coming into 2018, Nicki Minaj faced much scrutiny from the public. A fan-made beef between her and Cardi B led to fans counting Nicki out, even as she came with hit singles. The legendary rapper then missed out on number one with QUEEN, her long-awaited comeback album.
But, the pressure and scrutiny Nicki Minaj faced was nothing compared to what Geoffrey Owens was dealt with. While his name may not sound familiar, his character, ‘Elvin,’ on “The Cosby Show,” is iconic. He fell from the public eye and was spotted on his job at Trader Joe’s.
Someone took a photo of him, trying to shame him, but it has led to kind people coming together to help him. On top of his “Good Morning America” interview, Geoffrey Owens now has Nicki Minaj coming to his aid. The “Chun-Li” rapstress announced, on Queen Radio, that she’s donating $25,000 to Geoffrey Owens to help him out.
