On Friday, Nicki Minaj trended heavily on social media, after she kicked off the first night of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. This was held in Oakland, inside the Oakland Arena. As a result, fans praised Nicki’s performance, as the next show will take place in Denver, on March 3. Furthermore, the Pink Friday 2 World Tour will run until July 12.
Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj has just broke another major streaming record. According to Chart Data, she is now the first female rapper in Spotify history to surpass 34 billion streams, across all creditts.
Moreover, this new streaming record by Nicki Minaj comes amid the massive success of her “Pink Friday 2 “album. This was initially released in December, as it was her first studio album, since August 2018’s “Queen.” Pink Friday 2 served as the sequel to Nicki’s 2010 debut studio album, and went on to become her third number one album. 25 songs were available in total, which were led by hits such as “Last Time I Saw You,” as well as the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping “Super Freaky Girl.” Nicki also collaborated with Future, J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Monica, Keyshia Cole, and more, on the album.
