Suddenly, Nicki Minaj’s television presence is much bigger than her music videos, which air on such networks as FUSE TV and the Viacom channels. Earlier this month, Nicki Minaj revealed she would be a judge on the upcoming season of “American Idol.” Bringing her star power to FOX, alongside the legendary Mariah Carey, was a major coup.
Earlier this week, there have been several rumors about Nicki Minaj and more roles on television, this time on cable. Recent rumors have had Nicki Minaj headed to E!, the network which has provided the platform for Kim Kardashian and her family. There have been rumors of Nicki Minaj starring in her own reality show.
Chatter on the internet had already begun, but Nicki Minaj is laying a number of those rumors to rest. Instead of a reality show, Nicki Minaj will be starring in three E! specials, which will broadcast later in the fall of 2012. While there is not a show in the works, filming for the first E! special has already begun.
