It turns out the rumors are correct, Nicki Minaj has completed her first and last season over at FOX for “American Idol.” Back in September, news broke of Nicki Minaj joining the cast of “American Idol” as a judge. From the start, Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey began arguing, leading to a high-profile feud.
With the feud overshadowing the show, rumors began about FOX getting rid of both hitmaking females. But, given the tone of things, Nicki Minaj only planned to do one season of “American Idol” anyway. Nicki Minaj had a good time, but she is an artist, primarily, which means she is always on the move.
Leaving “American Idol” one day after Randy Jackson announced his departure, Nicki Minaj has revealed she is leaving. This is probably for the best, as FOX would probably have fired anyway. “American Idol” is going through a complete overhaul headed into the next season.
