Nicki Minaj Says She Still Has Love For Cuban Doll, After Cuban Used Wrong Lyrics For “Crocodile Teeth Remix,” in an Instagram Caption

Over the last week and a half, social media has been going crazy over the rerelease of Nicki Minaj’s 2009 “Beam Me Up Scotty” mixtape. New songs were included such as “Fractions,” “Seeing Green” feat. Lil Wayne and Drake, and “Crocodile Teeth” remix with Skillibeng.

Cuban Doll loved this record in particular and tried to use some of the lyrics in her Instagram caption as she put the wrong ones. Nicki Minaj soon slid in the comments to let her know this was the case. Cuban felt embarrassed after, but Nicki came out and made sure to emphasize that she had no bad intentions toward Cuban and that it’s all love. The original caption by Cuban read “My type of gal wanna know da opps out.”

“I hope y’all know I love Cuban,” said Nicki in her Instagram stoies. “I was havin fun w her. I don’t try 2 embarrass ppl I fuk wit. That’s corny. “I’ll never correct a lyric ever again chile. Boom.”

As for the Beam Me Up Scotty project overall, it did very well for its first week numbers. It debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart with 71,000 units. Nicki was right behind J. Cole’s “The Off-Season” album, which had 288,000 units. Nicki made her return to social media at the top of last week to reveal that new music would be on the way, and she delivered in a huge way that also gave fans nostalgia from when she first became a star.
