Nicki Minaj was in Amsterdam jail for 5-6 hours after arrest

On Saturday morning, Nicki Minaj took to Instagram Live to show her speaking with police in Amsterdam. That was prior to her leaving to board her flight to her next concert in Manchester, England. Moreover, Amsterdam police claimed that she had possession of drugs, including pre-rolled marijuana.

As a result, Amsterdam police made Nicki go into a precinct, for questioning. At the time, police claimed that she had to go into custody, for these drug claims. According to TMZ, Robert Kapel, a spokesperson for Royal Netherlands Marechaussee military police, confirmed that the arrest was for possessing “soft drugs,” such as marijuana.

Furthermore, Nicki Minaj eventually took to Twitter to address what happened. She revealed that she spent 5-6 hours in a jail cell, which ultimately caused her to miss her Manchester concert.

However, Nicki will be performing at her second Manchester show, on May 30. Furthermore, she is also set to hit the stage in Birmingham, England, on Sunday. She is currently venturing on the European leg of her Pink Friday World Tour. This comes as Nicki also announced the list of cities for the second leg of her US dates, which are arriving in the fall.
