Nicki Minaj Shows Off Diamond Plaque, For Her 2010 “Super Bass” Single

Nicki Minaj has had plenty of huge records in her career, over the past decade. One of them include “Super Bass.” At the time of its release, in 2010, it became the number three song in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Now, “Super Bass” has reached another impressive milestone. Nicki has just taken to her Twitter feed, to show off that this single was recently certified diamond, in the US. This is after selling 10 million units.

“Super Bass” went on to appear on Nicki’s 2010 debut studio album, Pink Friday. That project debuted at number one, on the Billboard 200 chart, and is currently 3x platinum, in the US.

“Super Bass” also currently has over 911 million YouTube views, for its music video. With the single recently hitting platinum status, it will be interesting to see if the video reaches 1 billion views, before 2021 is up.
