For months, fans have wanted to see Nicki Minaj and Cardi B at odds.See, when it comes to controversy, especially when it comes to hip hop music, Jay-Z explained it best. He has a song called “Trouble,” from his 2006 album, Kingdom Come. On the song, he talks about R. Kelly and he says “see, what I discovered is y’all some snitch lovers.”

Over a decade later, that sentiment remains true. What Jay-Z meant was that people love to see people pit against each other, especially in hip hop. Because of Nicki Minaj being the only successful female rapper, for so long, she’s been pit against them all. It isn’t enough that she and Remy have beef, they also want Cardi.

Hopes of this beef have been dashed, as Nicki Minaj instantly gave props to Cardi B. Then, she showed up on “Motorsport” with Cardi B, which is Migos’ newest single. Even still, people are trying to create a beef, so Nicki Minaj took to Twitter to explain how this track, and all of her tracks, come together.
