Hard to believe it’s already been five years since Nicki Minaj joined Young Money and began her strong movement. Before she was internationally known, Nicki Minaj was a major mixtape star. She managed to take this popularity and set in motion what made her the star she is today.

Five years after the fact, Nicki Minaj is working on her fourth major label release, her new album, The Pink Print. Introducing the album earlier in the spring, Nicki Minaj released the “Pills N Potions” single. Since then, Nicki Minaj has followed up with her single, “Anaconda,” which is beginning to impact now.

Nicki Minaj stopped by Power 106 when she was last in Los Angeles and she talked to both Yesi Ortiz and DJ Felli Fel. While she was there, Nicki Minaj talked about The Pink Print and the emotion going into this album. As she has previously said, this album will be her most-personal release to date.
