Nicki Minaj wins Top Rap Female Artist Award at BBMAs

The annual Billboard Music Awards are taking place on Sunday night, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. However, this year, they will not be nationally televised. Despite this, fans can still tune in, on platforms such as YouTube. This year, Taylor Swift has the most nominations, with 20.

Meanwhile, plenty of awards at the BBMAs are being handed out. One of the latest to do so is the Top Rap Female Artist category. As a result, the legendary Nicki Minaj took home this win. In addition to Nicki, Doja Cat and Ice Spice were also nominated in this category.

Furthermore, this comes as Nicki is preparing to finally release her fifth studio album, “Pink Friday 2,” on December 8. Moreover, this will also take place on Nicki’s 41st birthday. She initially planned a November 17 release date, earlier in the year. Therefore, Pink Friday 2 will be. Nicki’s first album since 2018’s “Queen.” This project will be led by singles such as “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” and “Last Time I Saw You. She initially teased the idea on Twitter/X, of putting out an EP before Pink Friday 2 is out, but no official announcement has been made, as of now.
