Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 World Tour sets touring record

Over the past month and a half, Nicki Minaj has been venturing on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. The next stop of the tour will take place on April 10, inside Boston’s TD Garden. Nicki had a show in Boston on Monday night as well, where she went on to bring out Boston native BIA, as the two have collaborated multiple times, since 2021.

Meanwhile, Nicki’s Pink Friday 2 World Tour has already set another major touring milestone. According to GirlsInRap, it is now the highest-grossing tour by a female rapper in history, as it has currently accumulated over $34.9 million in revenue. 17 shows have been completed, and 220,000 tickets sold.  Furthermore, Nicki’s Pink Friday 2 World Tour will run until July 14, where it concludes in Liège, Belgium.

Nicki’s Pink Friday 2 album was initially released in December, and was her first studio album since August 2018’s “Queen.” 25 songs were available in total, which were led by hits such as “Last Time I Saw You” and and the Billboard Hot chart-topping “Super Freaky Girl.” Nicki also collaborated with Future, J. Cole, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Monica, Keyshia Cole, and more. Monica has also been a special guest performer throughout the tour.
