Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 World Tour sets new touring record
Since March 1, Nicki Minaj has been venturing on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. This is in promotion of her Billboard 200 chart-topping “Pink Friday 2” album, which was released in December.
Furthermore, Nicki Minaj is also breaking various touring records, as she’s been performing in sold out arenas throughout the United States, and soon-to-be Europe, as well.
According to Chart Data, the Pink Friday 2 World Tour has also now become the highest-grossing tour by a female rapper in history. This comes as a result of earning over $67 million, so far.
Nicki Minaj’s next stop on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour is scheduled for May 23, in Amsterdam. That’s the start of the European leg of the tour. The tour will run until July 14, where it concludes in Líege, Belgium.
Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 album also continues to win big, as it went platinum in late March. This project contained 25 songs in total, as well as star-studded features from Lil Wayne, Future, J. Cole, Lil Uzi Vert, Monica, Keyshia Cole, and 50 Cent. As a result, Pink Friday 2 also became Nicki’s third number one album.
