For most of her career, Nicki Minaj played the role of a decisive figure, simply due to her magnitude. When she entered the game, female rappers were struggling. Many were giving up on a Lil’ Kim comeback and Nicki Minaj presented something (borrowed, but) new.
Nicki Minaj enjoyed an unprecedented run on top, scoring several major hits, spanning three albums. The hiatus she took between albums three and four saw Remy Ma have a strong comeback and Cardi B emerge. It was that, which led to Nicki Minaj facing backlash.
Today, Nicki Minaj officially launched the Nicki WRLD Tour, which she is headlining with Juice WRLD. Seeing her back on stage, Nicki’s die hard fans are HYPED for her, but the haters are saying the crowd was nearly empty. The fans on Twitter are currently duking that one out, right now.
