Nicole Richie accidentally sets her hair on fire, while blowing out candles on birthday cake

Well, this is 40, for Nicole Richie, huh? For the former reality TV star, she got off to a fire start to 40-years-old. In 2004, Richie rose to fame, as she and Paris Hilton starred in a highly popular reality show, but it ended in 2006.

Nicole Richie, the daughter of Lionel Richie, would fade from the spotlight. Initially, Richie had struggles with being a little overweight. But, when she began losing weight, many felt she lost an unhealthy amount.

Recently, Nicole Richie was celebrating her 40th birthday, and she blew the candles out on her birthday cake. When she went to blow out the candles, she had a huge surprise. As she was blowing out the candles, Richie’s hair caught on fire.
