Nipsey Hussle explains his independent vs. major stance with MTV News [VIDEO]

For some reason, people tuned out of the West Coast hip hop scene and they missed a lot of dope artists. Nipsey Hussle is one of the majors out here and he has come through big time with Crenshaw. Ever since 2005, Nipsey Hussle has dropped projects and he has released one every year since 2008.

Nipsey Hussle has a lot of major collaborations under his belt and the respect of the whole industry. Over the years, he has appeared on records with Game and Snoop Dogg, along with countless others. In every way that counts, Nipsey Hussle is a legend.

MTV News sat down with Nipsey Hussle and they have discussed the Crenshaw mixtape, which came with a new business model. Jay-Z bought into the business model presented with Crenshaw. Nipsey Hussle talked to MTV about business models and he said the major label one was on its way to an end.
