Nipsey Hussle 10It’s always very interesting to see the West Coast rappers and how they grind when it comes to putting new music out. Los Angeles rappers have always proven to be self-sufficient, but few predicted what Nipsey Hussle would do. Most rappers use mixtapes as promotional tools, Nipsey Hussle used his mixtape as a method of income.

Tying a concert into Crenshaw, which DJ Drama hosted, Nipsey Hussle charged $100 for hard copies of the tape. His efforts did not go unnoticed, as Jay-Z purchased 100 copies from Nipsey Hussle to help the cause. Needless to say, Nipsey Hussle sold out his copies of Crenshaw.

Nipsey Hussle recently visited Atlanta and he visited DJ Scream and Cory B over at their Hoodrich Radio. While there, Nipsey Hussle gave them an interview about his decision to stay independent, coming to Atlanta, and much more. Obviously, they also discussed the Crenshaw tape.
