Hard work and never giving up no matter how bad it looks is what led Meek Mill to being the superstar he is. After working his way up on the Philadelphia hip hop scene, the grind paid off when Meek Mill signed to Grand Hustle. The only problem was, he went to prison and when he got out, T.I. went to prison.
But, this proved to be only the dark hour before daybreak, as Maybach Music soon found a spot on their roster for Meek Mill. During the summer of 2011, Meek Mill helped transform MMG into a real contender in the game. Now, Meek Mill is a three-year veteran on the label and working on his second album.
Meek Mill is up day and night working on his music and that’s the way it has to be when pursuing a career in hip hop. A lot of artists from a few years ago have begun paying attention to how Meek Mill is grinding and they want in. Nelly is apparently one of these older artists who is getting in, as Meek Mill posted a photo on Instagram of them in the studio together.
