Recently, Obie Trice returned to the spotlight, sticking up for Eminem in his Nick Cannon beef. Any time there is any drama, Obie Trice is right there for his partner. This comes in spite of him leaving Shady Records, a decade ago.
Obie Trice has the spotlight, but nobody wants the kind of attention that the Detroit rapper is currently getting. Since fading from the spotlight, the veteran rapper has found love, apparently. One thing’s for sure, he has a new girlfriend, but they were having problems, before they split.
Currently, Obie Trice is out of jail, but he got arrested for shooting his girlfriend’s 18-year-old son in the groin. The son was shot, allegedly, for breaking up a fight between Obie and his mom. While Obie’s attorney says the investigation is ongoing, the son is accusing him of drinking all day and picking a fight, leading to the rapper shooting him, and him and his mom filing for orders of protection.
