Offset aiming for October release date for upcoming album
Offset aiming to release upcoming album in October
In late July, Offset delivered a new solo single, which was “Jealousy.” That record also contained a huge feature from his wife, Cardi B. Furthermore, the two also released the visuals for it, which even had a cameo from actress Taraji P. Henson. The video displayed Cardi and Offset recreating scenes from Henson’s classic 2000 breakout film, “Baby Boy.” Furthermore, earlier in the week, Offset had hinted at the new music coming, in a promotional video with legendary actress Jamie Lee Curtis. Prior to Jealousy being released, he and Cardi performed together at Rolling Loud Miami.
Meanwhile, Offset also has a solo project on the way. In a new interview with Apple Music 1’s Ebro Darden, the former Migos rapper revealed that he’s aiming for a release date, sometime in October.
“Yeah, we’re coming in October but right now we’re just applying pressure. Creatively, content-wise, I’m going to just keep my rollout going. The rollout started from ‘Jealousy,’ so I’m going to just keep the rollout starting from right then. So with this album, I’m definitely going to be showing way more personality, way more of who Offset is, creatively.”
