Offset changes Instagram avi to Takeoff
In the early hours of money morning, Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston. That occurred outside of a bowling alley, as Quavo was seen arguing with a group of men, for about 30 seconds. Two guns were reportedly fired after that, which struck Takeoff and two other people. Those individuals were treated at a local hospital.
Quavo and others surrounded Takeoff and asked for help, but the Migos rapper couldn’t make it. That came as Quavo found a woman who said she was a nurse, during his 911 call.
Tributes have since poured in, to honor Takeoff, online. Quavo understandably has yet to publicly speak, but Quality Control Music has, as well as QC CEO Pierre “P” Thomas.
Now, Offset is the latest to quietly address the shooting. His Instagram avi is now one that displays Takeoff’s face. According to TMZ, he was also scheduled to perform at MGM Music Hall in Boston, tonight, but that will not be the case. The initial scheduled even there will be taking place, though.
Migos had been going through breakup rumors, prior to Takeoff’s death. Quavo and Takeoff released their “Only Built For Infinity Links” album, while Offset had put out solo music, in the form of singles.
