Offset says he’s in a “dark place” after passing of Takeoff
Offset says he’s been in a dark place since Takeoff passing
It’s been over a month now, since the tragic death of Migos rapper Takeoff. He was caught in the middle of a shooting outside of a Houston bowling alley, as he was shot in the head and torso. This shooting went down after Quavo was in an argument with a group of men, as 10 shots went on to be fired.
Last week, Houston police went on to make an arrest, in connection to Takeoff’s death. 33-year-old Patrick Xavier Clark was placed into police custody, as he’s still being held on $2 million bond. It was also revealed that Clark purchased an expedited passport, in an attempt to flee to Mexico.
One of many who are still mourning Takeoff’s death, is his cousin and fellow Migos rapper, Offset. He initially spoke at Takeoff’s funeral in Atlanta last month, as he was visibly emotional. Offset has also penned various social media tributes to him. However, on Thursday, he also made it known that he’s still not doing well.
Offset took to Twitter to reveal that he’s in a dark place. He didn’t cite Takeoff’s passing in the tweet, but many feel that this is as a result of that tragedy. He also included a middle finger emoji, at the end of the tweet. This also comes after Offset recently said on Instagram, that he doesn’t want people to post about Takeoff, unless it’s in a positive light.
