It’s been over three weeks now, hip-hop lost a huge star in Takeoff. The Migos rapper was shot and killed outside of a Houston bowling alley, in the early hours of November 1. At the time, Quavo had gotten into an argument with a group of men, which led to 10 shots being fired. Takeoff was unfortunately hit in the torso and head, in the middle of that crossfire.

Takeoff’s funeral went on to be held in his hometown of Atlanta, inside State Farm Arena. His mother, Quavo, Offset, Drake, and more delivered emotional speeches. Justin Bieber and Chlöe Bailey were among the performers.

Many tributes continue to pour in for Takeoff, including from Offset. He recently took to Instagram to share a new photo of him. He mentioned how he misses everything about Takeoff, including his smile.

However, Offset had still been close with Takeoff, despite Migos splitting as a group, this year. Quavo and Takeoff began releasing music together, in May, which included their “Only Built For Infinity Links” album, last month. As a result, Offset also began to release solo music this fall, as well.
