When Gucci Mane first launched 1017 Brick Squad, he planned for OJ Da Juiceman to be next in line. Out the gate, OJ Da Juiceman started out strong with “Make Da Trap Say Aye,” which was a breakout success. Starting 2009 off strong, OJ Da Juiceman also appeared on Jadakiss’ “Who’s Real” single.

It appeared as if OJ Da Juiceman not only would be the biggest artist out of the newly-formed 1017 Brick Squad, but that he would be the biggest new rapper. But, after making his first hit single, OJ Da Juiceman disappeared. Waka Flocka Flame replaced OJ in the eyes of the media.

OJ Da Juiceman has put forth a comeback in his mixtapes. Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka have both talked about OJ Da Juiceman, saying he could be the leader, but is often too lazy. But, he is doubling up on March 2 with 6 Rings 2 and Juice World 2 coming out and recently the trailer was released.
