While he has been signed to Warner Bros. Records for some time, Gucci Mane has found most of his success through his indpendent releases. The Atlanta native has risen to become one of the most popular mixtape rappers in the game. Gucci Mane is the head of 1017 Brick Squad, which consists of himself, Waka Flocka Flame, OJ Da Juiceman, Frenchie, and Wooh Da Kid.
Gucci Mane has been one of Atlanta’s biggest figures on the mixtape scene. With Gucci Mane being established on the mixtape level, it is only right of him to have worked with DJ Drama at least once. DJ Drama is a native of Philadelphia, but has built his reputation in Atlanta. Many of the biggest rappers in the game have worked with DJ Drama.
Hood Affairs TV recently leaked some old footage of Gucci Mane working on tracks from his DJ Drama-hosted mixtape, The Movie.
