Omarion opens up #Hot97 #SummerJam2015 with “M.I.A.,” mixes in Rihanna and Rae Sremmurd

This evening, as advertised, Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2015 launched. The show opened with Omarion, who is bringing new life to the Maybach Music roster. His music is everywhere and the “Post To Be” single featuring Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko is looking like a summer anthem.

Omarion opened Summer Jam, this year, which is a big moment for him, musically. Until recently, Omarion wasn’t a very popular name in the music industry. But, he brought life to the show, opening with “M.I.A.,” then mixing in Rihanna’s “BBHMM” and Rae Sremmurd before his hit.

In the end, Omarion did his thing on the solo tip, as he did not bring out Jhene Aiko or Chris Brown for the record. There is a lot of chatter on Twitter about the performance. Omarion brought the right energy to start the show and stayed tuned for more from Hip Hop Vibe, featuring yours truly and the homie, Rel Tha Don.
