In the spring of 2018, Safaree was robbed of $180,000 in cash and jewelry in his hometown of New York City. Three men were responsible as they were plotting on him for a while. It went down in a parking garage as everything was captured on video.
Carl Harry is one of the robbers and recently struck a plea deal that will get him 364 days in prison with six other charges dropped, according to TMZ. He plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit theft. He would be sentenced to the Bergen County Jail with five years of probation after that. Safaree surprisingly went to to his scheduled interview with Angie Martinez after that and revealed the information about being robbed.
Shawn Harewood and Tacuma Ashman are the other two robbers as they will stand trial on December 7. They have seven-count indictments. Harry is set to be sentenced in January.
