Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer
The past couple of years have seen New York make great strides with their hip hop scene. Outside of New York, it turned out that not too many people were following what was going on. Both Kendrick Lamar and Trinidad James did not seem concerned with New York’s strides, but they both faced Papoose.
Ironically, Papoose’s run started last summer when he crashed Kendrick Lamar’s set at Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2013. Knowing he wasn’t invited and feeling a bit wronged by it, Papoose let Hot 97’s brass know how he felt. Regardless, Papoose came through and it was a legendary night.
A lot has changed in the year since then, Papoose no longer considers Kendrick Lamar a friend. But, Papoose still has plans of being at Summer Jam and he had a question about how things should go down this year. When he posted on both Twitter and Instagram, Papoose had the same question, which was “who should I rush at Summer Jam this year?”
