Papoose talks Kendrick Lamar cypher diss with XXL

Papoose 7For everybody still tuning into the “Control” debate, the winner is looking like Papoose more than anybody else. When Kendrick Lamar called himself the king of New York, it was an opportunity for rappers such as Fabolous, Lloyd Banks, and Juelz Santana to step up to the plate. Papoose was the only rapper who decided to step up.

It’s been two months since “Control” came out and Papoose is still going hard after his former friend. Sending direct shots on Twitter and in his songs, Kendrick Lamar has ignored Papoose for the most part. But, during his cypher for the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards, Kendrick Lamar took shots that most people thought were for Drake.

Some felt they were aimed at Papoose and he was one who agreed. Since then, there has been a lot of talk about what Papoose would do in response to Kendrick Lamar. When he did an interview with XXL, Papoose mentioned the diss and he promised he had a response, saying Kendrick can’t lyrically f-ck with him.
