Nine years ago, Papoose turned heads when he stole the show on the remix of “Touch It” by Busta Rhymes. The single gave Papoose the spotlight and he signed a $2 million deal with Jive Records. Eventually, the deal didn’t pan out and Papoose returned to mixtapes.
In 2013, Papoose talked to Hip Hop Vibe about finally releasing his debut album, The Nacirema Dream. Two years later, Papoose has the second album out. The second opus is called You Can’t Stop Destiny and it’s got some heat on it.
Papoose is dominating the headlines and he stopped by “The Breakfast Club” to talk to DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. In the interview, Papoose discussed his upcoming album and being cast on “Love & Hip Hop.” Remy Ma is also on the show and she and Papoose have lived the title of the show, so he obviously talked about her, too.
